CampControl distinguishes between exploration
staff and expediting staff because the
expediting function is often contracted to a
service provider outside of the exploration
company.
The CampControl system is
therefore available in two primary versions:
CampControl Exploration
and
CampControl Expediting
as well as a "combined"
version for Exploration (Geological Management)
Service Providers.
The difference between
the two primary systems lies in how data
access permissions are managed - such that,
for the expediting version, expediting company
employees can access the expediting data
(orders, freight control sheets, warehouse
inventories) for multiple exploration companies
from a single logon - greatly enhancing their
work efficiency.
