CampControl for Analytical Laboratories

A CampControl Analytical Laboratory Account enables Laboratories:

To be automatically sent an email alerting them to the despatch of samples destined for them the moment the samples are sent from the client;
To monitor the progress of these samples through different links in the chain of custody, no matter how many links there are between source and destination, and no matter where they are in the world;
To send analysis-related emails directly to their clients' CampControl accounts. On receipt by CampControl, these emails are scanned for one of the client's sample batch numbers, and, once this is found, the email, and all of its attachments, are stored with the CampControl record for that batch. At least four emails like this are usually send for each sample batch [viz: (1) Confirmation of sample receipt; (2) Certificate of Analysis (pdf); (3) Results workfile (csv or xls); (4) Invoice].

A CampControl Analytical Laboratory Account enables Exploration Companies:

To consign batches of samples for analysis to laboaratories with CampControl Accounts, and to centrally record and monitor the progress of their samples to the laboratory, as well as automatically receive laboratory emails and attached reports for organised storage together with their original sample batch despatch records.

In essence, CampControl provides its client exploration companies with their own mini LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), which includes the following:

All sample numbering and packing-for-transport details;
All chain of custody details, including copies of waybills, transportation invoices, import/export permits, etcetera;
All laboratory correspondence, including Analysis Request Forms, sample receipt confirmations, results reports and invoices.

This mini-LIMS is also accessible by the laboratory analysing the samples, although the laboratory is not allowed to see intermediate waybill (Freight Control Sheet) details unless specifically permitted to by the client company.

For Exploration Companies to be able to use this CampControl facility, they have to have access to a free CampControl Sample Management Account, or any other kind of CampControl account.
