Exploration Account Manager

THIS FUNCTION APPLIES ONLY TO CAMPCONTROL (for Exploration Companies), not to CampControl for Expediting Companies

The Account Manager has the capabilities and responsibilities listed in the table below.

The most critical of these, which are not shared with any other users of the system, are the following

1. Responsibility for payment of the account's subscription;
2. Control over whether Company, Project, Camp and Expediting Managers are allowed to add additional users to the account (which impacts subscription costs).
3. Control over whether the account uses CampControl's pre-configured Cost Codes and Program Codes, company-specific codes entered by the Account Manager, or both.

	Exploration Account Manager
Permission	Status	Description
Manage Account	Always ON	Only one user per Exploration Account should have this permission for clear accountability reasons. The only exception to this is likely to be when an Account Manager delegates his responsibilities to his Office Administrator. He/she can create any number of users at different levels, including Expediting Managers and Expediters, but cannot create additional companies, as an Exploration Account services only one Exploration Company.
Manage Regions	Always ON	This permits the creation of new Regions within which the Exploration Company operates, and the editing of details describing them. It is normally reserved for the Exploration Account Manager and Company Managers.
Manage Region Locations	Always ON
Manage Locations	Always ON	This permits the creation of new Locations (Camps) within Regions, and the editing of details describing them.
Manage Company Users	Always ON	This permits the creation of new Exploration Company Users, and the editing of details describing them, including their permissions. In particular it allows users to be designated to Locations at the "Company" level (ie: designate them to all Locations in the Company).
Manage Region Users	Always ON	This permits the creation of new Exploration Company Users, and the editing of details describing them, including their permissions. In particular it allows users to be designated to Locations at the "Region" level (ie: designate them to all Locations in a Region).
Manage Location Users	Def ON	This permits the creation of new Exploration Users, and the editing of details describing them, including their permissions. In particular it allows users to be designated to Locations only at the "Location" level (ie: one location at a time).
Customize CampControl	Always ON	This permits customisation of the following aspects of CampControl (on a per Exploration Company basis): Cost Codes, Program Codes, Activity Codes, Financial Categories, Analytical Labs, Purchase Companies, Receive Locations, Return Reasons, Sample Containers Sample Shipping Containers and Expediters' Worksheet Charge To.
View Discussions	Always ON	View discussion notes that users may attach to orders or parts of orders as they progress through the stages of Order - Purchase - Freight to Location - Receive. These are visible to all other users who have the "View Discussions" permission. Note: Discussions can be used to implement an Order Approval Process - whereby Expediting Managers are instructed not to process any orders until they have attached to them a Discussion Note from an appropriate Manager indicating an approval to purchase.
Update Discussions	Always ON	Permission to add or update discussion entries. Note: Discussions can be used to implement an Order Approval Process - whereby Expediting Managers are instructed not to process any orders until they have attached to them a Discussion Note from an appropriate Manager indicating an approval to purchase.
View Company Orders In Progress	Always ON	Permission similar to that of "View Company Orders", but relating to order status when it is "in progress" (ie: all order items not yet received at the location from which they were ordered). This permits a user who is designated on the Region or Location level to be able to view all Orders in Progress in the Company. All other access, unless explicitly set, remains at the designated Location or Region level for the user.
View Region Orders In Progress	Always ON	Permission similar to that of "View Region Orders", but relating to order status when it is "in progress" (ie: all order items not yet received at the location from which they were ordered). This permits a user who is designated on the Location level to be able to view all Orders in Progress in the Region of their designated Location. All other access, unless explicitly set, remains at the designated Location or Region level for the user.
View Location Orders In Progress	Always ON	Permission similar to that of "View Location Orders", but relating to order status when it is "in progress" (ie: all order items not yet received at the location from which they were ordered).
Update Region Orders In Progress	Always ON	Permission to make certain changes to orders while they are in progress (See "View Region Orders in Progress"). This is a necessary permission for anyone (ie: Expediter or Expediting Manager) whose work it is to make purchases and record on CampControl what has (and has not) been purchased. This permission widens the scope of the "View Assign Order" permission. It permits a user who is designated on a Location level to be able to assign all Orders in the Region of their designated Location. All other access, unless explicitly set, remains at the designated Location or Region level for the user.
Update Location Orders In Progress	Always ON	Permission to make certain changes to orders while they are in progress (See "View Location Orders in Progress"). This is a necessary permission for anyone (ie: Expediter or Expediting Manager) whose work it is to make purchases and record on CampControl what has (and has not) been purchased. This is a necessary permission (which CampControl automatically assigns) in order to use the "View Assign Order" permission.
Create General Order	Always ON	Self-explanatory.
Create Commissary Order	Always ON	Self-explanatory.
Create Travel Order	Always ON	Self-explanatory.
Fulfill Air Charter Order	Always ON	Fulfill an air charter request (ie: arrange the details of the charter with the aircraft operator, and then enter them into CampControl after the charter has been flown describing the actual route taken, which is often different from both the original request and the route arranged).
View Company Orders	Always ON	Exploration Account Manager status grants this permission, to view all orders, by definition. By definition, the Exploration Account Manager has access to data for all Locations. (See Expediting Manager permission descriptions for a more detailed description of this permission.)
View Region Orders	Always ON	Exploration Account Manager status grants this permission, to view all orders, by definition. By definition, the Exploration Account Manager has access to data for all Locations. (See Expediting Manager permission descriptions for a more detailed description of this permission.)
View Location Orders	Always ON	Exploration Account Manager status grants this permission, to view all orders, by definition. By definition, the Exploration Account Manager has access to data for all Locations. (This permits a user to view Orders for the Locations they are designated to.)
Create Orders On Behalf Of	Always ON	Necessary if the manager is to enter orders on behalf of someone else.
Update Freight Control	Always ON	Necessary in order to record in CampControl how and when items are freighted from the expediter's warehouse to their destinations.
Create Sample Shipment	Always ON	Self-explanatory.
Receive Location Freight	Always ON	Necessary to record in CampControl that items sent from an expediter or another location have been received at a destination location.
Receive Location Freight On Behalf Of	Always ON	Necessary to be able to receive items (freight) on behalf of someone else.
Create Shipping Labels	Always ON	Self explanatory.
View Region Worklogs	Always ON	Permission to view Expediting Company Employees worklogs as controlled by Region designations.
View Location Worklogs	Always ON	Permission to view Expediting Company Employees worklogs as controlled by Location designations.
Create Worklogs	Always ON	Permission necessary to record timesheets reflecting time spent on different expediting jobs, and other details
View Warehouse Control	Always ON	Permission to see what items are in the Expediter's Warehouse (presumably awaiting freighting to their destination).
Update Warehouse Control	Always ON	Permission to update the warehouse - either by shipping items out of the warehouse, or adding ad hoc items which will need to be shipped (such as courier items received). Items which are recorded in CampControl as "purchased" automatically are added to the warehouse.
Update Utilities	Always ON	Permission to use the Utilities.
View Utilities	Always ON	Permission to see the Utilities menu button and data in the Utilities.
View Assign Orders	Always ON	Allows the User to view assigned orders.  To be able to assign orders, the user must also have the "Update Location Orders In Progress" permission.  Orders can be assigned to different persons (Expediters) for purchasing, or directly to suppliers, who would then be expected to provision the items assigned to them for forwarding by the expediting company to the party which ordered them.
Update Assigned Orders	Always ON	Permission to make certain changes to orders which are assigned to an Expediter, Expediting Manager or Supplier for purchasing (See "Update Company Orders in Progress"). This is a necessary permission for anyone whose work it is to make purchases and record on CampControl what has (and has not) been purchased.
Manage Permissions	Always ON	Permission to manage users permissions.
View All Assigned Orders	Always ON	Permission to view all Assigned Orders.
Delete Discussion	Always ON
Create Air Charter Order	Always ON	Self-explanatory.
View Exploration Worklogs	Always ON	Permission to view and record Exploration Worklogs in data grids and view Exploration Worklog reports (eg:pdf outputs).
Create Exploration Worksheets On Behalf Of	Always ON	Permission to create and add to Exploration Worklogs (timesheets) on behalf of other exploration staff.
View Reports	Always ON	View various reports, filtered and sorted by various criteria, and exportable in pdf or Excel format.
Send Freight With AutoReceive	Always ON	Permission to have CampControl show an item sent from one location and received in another location by the same person - thus skipping the step (period) while the item is in transit, and avoiding having to explicitly use a second CampControl screen to mark the item as having been received at its destination.
Send InterLocation Transfer	Always ON	Permission to send any item from one Location to another using CampControl to record the transfer - including explicit documentation of receipt of the item at its destination.
Make Own Bookings	Always ON	Permission to enter and fulfill your own airline and hotel bookings, rather than place an order for them to be fulfilled by expediting staff.
View Drill Logs	Def On	Permission to view and record drill logs in data grids and view drill log reports (eg:pdf outputs).
View Helicopter Logs	Def On	Permission to view and record helicopter logs in data grids and view helicopter log reports (eg:pdf outputs).
View Vehicle Logs	Def On	Permission to view and record vehicle logs in data grids and view vehicle log reports (eg:pdf outputs).
